Hello there. I'm an artist in San Francisco and I need an EGA screen for researching an upcoming project involving how those screens used to display information.
I'm looking for either an IBM 5154 or an NEC JC-1402HMA (multisynch ii). If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! |

Hi Mark,
would think finding any EGA monitor will be difficult enough, without looking for a specific make and/or model. They were not around long as the vga and svga soon appeared on the scene. Have you tried ebay/computing /vintage? Items are placed there daily, so sort by time newly listed and look every few days. Here in the UK, often complete desktop pc's are there. Also look at the 'I want to get rid of' forum here. Please advise back on progress. Good Luck - Mike. |

Oh yes. I got my 5170 on Ebay. It's been kind of dry lately.
