NESTOPIA

Since it wouldn''t let me add some info on the emulator page, I would like to point out an emulator not listed on this site. It is called NESTOPIA and it lives up to its name. Probably the most compatible NES Emulator for windows and certainly the most accurate in timing.

the nes or famicom had a ricoh8 bit custom 6502 derivative cpu and restrictive dma on die
the famicom had the longest production life of any console ever to this day
from 1983 to 2004 in japan
it shifted 60 million units in its life time

I've played the system since 5 years old. I have 2 of the systems and one of the newer top loader systems (which is very rare BTW) I've gotten them all for free over the years.

I also have an SNES but have never played it.

Old gamer or new gamer, you gotta love this machine. This is what turned me into a technophile freak at the nice age of four.

Mike Tyson's Punchout is the best game ever.

I spent countless hours fighting Soda Popinski and Super Mach Man.

How many time have i heard "Mac" giving Little Joe inspiration to get the job done
