IBM
5140 Convertible

IBM Convertible Model 5140 Upgrades, Accessories, and Adapters
mostly taken from Computer Reset (The Source For Used Computers, Printers, Monitors, Parts, and Older Software)

MEMORY CARDS
128K MEMORY CARD
256K MEMORY CARD
384K MEMORY CARD made by STB

INFORMATION NOTE ABOUT MEMORY UPGRADES:
-The Convertible memory is located under the keyboard. The memory space will mount four memory cards.
- If a computer has 256K of RAM, it probably has two spaces filled and two empty.
- The system maximum memory is 640K.
- Typically if the computer has 265K ram, it requires one 128K and one 256K memory card to raise it to 640K.
- If the computer has a Backlit LCD (with two slide controls) it can use the 384K memory card made by STB Systems.
- IMPORTANT: To use the 384K memory card made by STB Systems the computer must have the higher output power supply.
- computers made with the Back Lit Screen should have the higher output power supply.
