This is another incarnation of the classic systems using cartridges based on General Instruments chips.
Ten small buttons, horizontaly arranged, are used to select the different games offered by the inserted cartridge. The playing options are activated by the three switches labeled A, B and C. The joystick are detachable and are connected to the system through connectors placed on each side. At the back of the system is a very useful item: a volume control knob !
The cartridge released are the classic ones for these systems using cartridges based on General Instrument chips: Ball games, Motorcycle, Car racing, Submarine, Wipeout, Tank battle and maybe Shooting gallery. These are generic english titles. Real titles are in German.
The shooting games require the use of a light gun. It's not clear if the MBO Tele-Cassete 1 can use one, and thus if there is such a cartridge for this system (anyone can confirm this?).
This system was also marketed as the Palladium Tele-Cassetten-Game and Optim 600...

Steen Larsen (Denmark) reports:
I have the Tank game, and it works well, and probably only with the analog controllers, because you use the analog steering to "bend" and curve the fired projectile ! This is by far the best game for the sytem !!

I found one not long ago, and it is in working condition! Yes, it has a game called Panzerschlacht, and it works with the analog joysticks well.

I used to own one of these babies - in fact it was my first encounter with something which would display "graphic" games on a TV screen... The graphic was simple block graphic - just like the Commodore VIC20 or similar.
I can remember that the cartridge which came with the system was a ball games - and one of the games "Gitterball" drove my dad mad! It was a games where you would wriggle the joystick up and down and keep the other player from getting the ball through your mesh - the noise was most annoying!
