| Thursday 18th September 2008 | lodger | | Unlike a lot of inferior systems, such as the Sinclair Spectrum or the Amstrad/Schneider CPC series, the Commodore 64 had a lot to offer: sophisticated sound, graphics and file I/O features. Especially the VIC2 video chip and the SID sound chip were far more advanced than those chips used by Commodore''s competitors.
I have a C64 in a 80s PC Style case that looks almost exactly the same and I wonder if this thing is also a machine by EDS. It has only one internal disk drive though. |
